Sara-Lynne has been working as a counselling therapist since 2011 and has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults.
Her experience began with 5 years as a School Counsellor (grades 9 to 12). She then spent 7 years working for a community-based, non-profit supporting individuals impacted by sexual violence. Most recently, Sara-Lynne has been supporting people return to work after injury (psychological and physical).
Utilizing a client-centred approach with a strengths-based approach, Sara-Lynne employs CBT, DBT, CPT, Solution-Focused and Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness to help clients meet their goals.
She is a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
